What?… What?… What?…
Depending on your age and/or television tastes you may have read the above with the voice of ‘Stone Cold Steve Austin’ running through your head.
If you didn’t let me add some context… and then I’ll get to the point.
‘Stone Cold’ made “What?” one of his catchphrases during his run as one of the biggest stars in the WWE (here’s a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YE9S3zQx_2k) in a program that saw him rallying against his employer and taking every opportunity to ‘stick it to the man’… so to speak.
For me it was entertaining to watch him live out a fantasy that I’m sure many people have had at work; the chance to tell your boss what you think of him or her and generally cause chaos at every opportunity… with some scripted violence thrown in for good measure.
Now this may not be your cup of tea, the WWE is an acquired taste (or you’re too young to remember the Attitude Era as it was called), but the irony was that life ultimately imitated art when ‘Stone Cold’ decided he’d had enough and packed his bags and walked out of the WWE having become unhappy with where things were going.
Maybe you’re not quite at the point of yelling in your bosses face, throwing around the furniture and storming out, but I suspect you’re looking for something that will help you to break free from your current 9-5 and living a different kind of life.
I know I had moments in my career when I thought to myself (it sounds a little silly now I’m older) ‘what would Stone Cold do?’ and then imagined how much fun it would be to raise a little hell before leaving for the last time and not coming back.
Thankfully I found my way to a better path, it’s not perfect yet but I am working on it, and I find myself enjoying ‘what I do’ a lot more these days having gotten some more freedom and also improved tihngs financially… but what does this have to do with you?

I want you to ask yourself the following three questions:
- What… do you really want to be doing each day?
- What… do you need to do in order to achieve this? And,
- What… is holding you back from making it a reality?
The internet is empowering thousands of people every day to make big changes in their lives, whether it be educating them in a different way, helping them experience new things that might otherwise not be possible, as well as providing a platform through which to create their own digital business.
I can’t immediately think of any business in this day and age that doesn’t benefit from marketing online, building a brand online and/or making use of affiliates or marketers in one way or another.
So if all this is going on, couldn’t you learn these skills and create an income opportunity for yourself? After all, you’re smart and happy to work hard at your day job or at school, so why wouldn’t you be able to make an online business work?
